Does your Child or Young Person have SEND and require assistance with getting to School or College?
Would you like to find out more about if your Child or Young Person qualifies for Travel Assistance?
We wanted to inform you that it is not too late to book your place on our FREE ‘SEND Travel Assistance Information Session’ taking place on Thursday 6th May 2021 (10:00 – 12:00).
If your Child or Young Person qualifies for Travel Assistance you will need to apply if:
- Your child is entering Reception class
- Your child is attending a new school (any year group)
- Your child is moving schools
- You wish to express your preference of a different mode of travel assistance to what you received last year
- Your child is starting post-16 education
If this is your situation and you want to find out more, come along to this FREE session.
This is an online session aiming to provide parents/carers with valuable information to support them in gaining an understanding of what the service provides, who can access the service and how to apply. Aspects covered will include key areas such as; criteria, forms, processes, applications, appeals and eligibility.
