Tiverton School is a primary school for children aged three to eleven who have severe learning difficulties or profound and multiple learning difficulties and may also have a physical or sensory impairment or an Autistic Spectrum Condition. There are 42 pupils on roll, the vast majority of whom have a Statement of Special Educational Need or an Education, Health and Care Plan which names Tiverton School.
Early Years pupils from September 2015 have a broad spectrum of Special Educational Need in line with Coventry’s vision for offering broad spectrum special schools across the city.
Each child in our school is unique and as such their learning journey through our school is individually designed and implemented to enable them to achieve the very best outcomes possible. Our school is a place where we are "Passionate about celebrating learning, enjoyment and achievement for all” and we remain committed to the rights of our children to receive a motivating, relevant and meaningful education. We place high value on celebrating children’s participation, learning and achievement in whatever way is most appropriate for each child and no matter how small the steps may be.
We are fully committed to safeguarding all pupils through policy and practices that are very clearly designed to keep children safe and protect them from harm.
